This Notice is issued under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") by Ekin Elektrik Makine ve Tekstil Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (hereinafter "Ekin Elektrik" or the "Company"), acting as data controller, in relation to personal data collected through the www.ekinelektrik.com website (the "Site") or other channels.

2. Personal Data Processed

Through our Contact Form, Request for Quotation (RFQ) cart, and similar channels, and only to the extent you provide it, we may process the following categories of personal data:

• Identity data: first and last name, name of the authorized contact person
• Contact data: email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address
• Business data: company name, tax identification number (if provided), requested product/service details, quotation content
• Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device information, site usage/log records

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Handling quotation requests and pre-/post-sales processes
• Customer relationship management and communication
• Evaluating inquiries, complaints, and suggestions
• Executing contractual and sales processes
• Complying with the Company's legal obligations
• Maintaining Site security and business continuity

4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected electronically through the forms available on the Site and processed on the legal bases set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, namely: the processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and the Company's legitimate interest, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Where explicit consent is required for a specific processing activity (e.g. commercial electronic communications), it will be requested separately through a dedicated consent notice.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with competent public authorities where legally required, and with business partners such as accounting/financial advisory firms and logistics/ shipping companies. It may also be shared, to a limited extent and only as necessary for service provision, with domestically or internationally based service providers used for the Site's technical infrastructure (such as cloud hosting or email delivery services). Where data is transferred abroad, this is done in accordance with the safeguards required under Article 9 of the KVKK. Your personal data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and by applicable statutory limitation periods (typically up to 10 years under Turkish commercial and tax legislation), after which it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unlawful processing or access to your personal data and to ensure its secure storage.

8. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about such processing; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK; request that any such correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result that is to your detriment arising solely from automated analysis of your data; and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

9. How to Submit a Request

You may submit requests relating to the rights above, together with documents verifying your identity, in writing to the Company's address or by email to info@ekinelektrik.com. Requests will be finalized free of charge as soon as possible and within no more than 30 days, depending on their nature.

10. Changes

The Company reserves the right to amend this Notice at any time in accordance with applicable law. The current version will continue to be published on this page.
